Cassandra Kleefman, MC
Registered Psychologist
I bring a down-to-earth, no-hold-back approach to my therapy practice, weaving humor and connection into my work with individuals, couples, and groups. I blend evidence-based methods with an experiential, process-driven perspective, that integrates philosophical, existential, emotional, and acceptance-based techniques in support of my client's journey. I always prioritize the therapeutic relationship, creating a space where growth feels meaningful and safe. Advocacy and psychoeducation are central to my practice, ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
I specialize in sexual health, with expertise in pelvic pain, "dysfunctions", and intimacy challenges. I support clients through concerns like infidelity, low desire, erectile difficulties, and chronic pain. My work also extends to relationship-building, "addictions" (i.e. porn, sex), and sexual trauma. Because sexual health does not live in a vacuum, I also work with clients through other issues, including things like self-esteem, anxiety, shame, and stress-related concerns.
I hold a Masters in Counselling and a certificate in Intensive Sex Therapy. I've also completed Sexual Health and Pelvic Health certificates. Other specialized training includes EMDR, Gottman Method for couples, and EFT for individuals and couples, equipping me to support diverse therapeutic needs.
Cassandra is available for both in-person and virtual sessions and is currently accepting new clients. She welcome clients from all genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and relationship arrangements.
