Lisa Rowse, MA

Registered Psychologist

Lisa has a passion for helping people through difficult life circumstances and is honoured to be a part of that process. She has found the most important part of therapy to be the relationship built with her client. Lisa believes that a warm non-judgmental environment lays the foundation for her client to achieve personal growth and healing. She works primarily from a person-centered approach, but utilize a variety of methods and techniques, including: attachment theory, systemic theory, existentialism and cognitive behavioural techniques.

Lisa has over 8 years of experience working with diverse clientele in various settings. She has worked in a residential youth centre, outpatient clinics, schools and private practice. Lisa has worked with adults and couples struggling with anxiety, depression and relational or situational traumas. In addition, she has worked with children struggling with regulating their emotions, attentional difficulties, behavioural issues and traumatic experiences.
